Superfood Vanilla Latte

Some promises are too good to be true. Like, "Send us $200 and we'll send you a million dollars, plus a car and a vacation to Tahiti . Trust me, I may sound Jamaican, but I work for the New York Lottery." Unfortunately that one is going around. So is "Trust us, rub these chemicals on your face twice a day and you'll look like Athena, or at least Angelina Jolie."
   What they don't tell you?

"Large molecules such as collagen applied to the skin cannot penetrate and cannot reach the dermis where wrinkles originate." Source

So instead of getting rid of wrinkles, you're probably just giving yourself cancer.

But what if you could drink coffee in the morning and fight wrinkles, cellulite, stretch marks and scars, relieve joint pain, remineralize your teeth, balance your hormones, aid digestion, boost metabolism to burn fat and strengthen hair and nails? (source, source). That's quite a promise, but fortunately the research supports this one.

This is my favorite way to make coffee at home. It tastes delicious and has that thick, creamy foam on top that sticks to your lip. This recipe makes enough for two large, or three modest sized mugs.

Superfood Vanilla Latte
Combine all ingredients into a blender and process until light and creamy. Pour into cups and sprinkle with additional ground cinnamon if desired.

NOTE: This post had also contained a giveaway from March of 2014. This giveaway is now over, but look for more in the future!

  1. Hey Jamie ^_^ I would love, love, love the Bosch Universal Plus Mixer With Blender! My kitchenaid mixer broke recently and I am desperate for another, plus I've always loved Bosch mixers. Thanks for the chance to win!

    3. Randy, for some reason the hyperlinks I had included in the instructions weren't highlighted. It's now fixed. You can use the icons at the very top right of the page, or click on the red hyperlinks in the instructions. Thanks!

  3. Thanks for the give-away, Jamie! I'd have to go with the Amazon gift card. I already have a Vita-Mix, I have cookware I love and I don't see needing another blender/mixer machine. :)

    1. Oh, I'm so sorry ApostolicMom! This giveaway is from March and it's mentioned in the post that it ended mid-March. To avoid any confusion though I deleted all of the old info. You can sometimes find a Vitamix for cheap on Craigslist or Ebay (even an almost new one). We found one for $90 this way. The Vitamix website also sells certified reconditioned ones with a warranty and a big discount if you want to check it out here. https://www.vitamix.com/Shop/Certified-Reconditioned-Products.aspx
